Tacloban City Gears Up for May 2025 Elections: 223 Automated Counting Machines Tested and Sealed

According to Dadulla, a key official involved in the preparations, the testing process went flawlessly. “Yung Tacloban is 100 percent,” he stated. “We successfully conducted the final testing and sealing of a total of 223 automated counting machines which will be used in the May 12, 2025 elections. Successful lahat 'yun, walang mga problema na na-encounter natin.”
The smooth operation of the machines has been attributed to the improved technology implemented by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC). “Napakagaling ng makina ngayon, yung bagong teknolohiya ng COMELEC,” Dadulla added, highlighting the advancements in the automated voting system.
