Police Chief clarified that these reports are entirely false and constitute fake news, reassuring residents that Bulacan remains a safe and secure place to live and work.

The recent wave of misinformation appears to have stemmed from a series of posts on social media platforms, particularly Facebook and messaging apps, alleging a dramatic increase in incidents of theft, robbery, and other crimes. These posts often included unverified statistics and anecdotal accounts, creating a sense of panic and unease among the public.

However, the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) has conducted a thorough review of crime statistics and confirmed that there is no evidence to support these claims.
