KOTA KINABALU, May 22 – With the highly anticipated Kaamatan Festival just eight days away, Sabah’s Deputy Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Jeffrey Kitingan, has issued a heartfelt call to the public, urging a celebration that is both joyous and responsible. The Kaamatan Festival, also known as the Harvest Festival, is a significant cultural event for the Kadazan-Dusun community and Sabahans in general, marking the rice harvest season and giving thanks for bountiful yields.
