Cirebon, Indonesia – In a stern warning to those exploiting organizational affiliations for personal gain, Cirebon Police Chief, Commissioner Arif Rachman Hakim, has vowed to relentlessly pursue and prosecute members of groups involved in extortion. This follows reports of individuals using their association with organizations to harass and financially burden local businesses and the general public.

“We will not tolerate any individual or group leveraging the name of an organization to inflict harm upon the business community or the citizens of Cirebon,” Commissioner Hakim declared firmly. “Such actions are unacceptable and will be met with swift and decisive action.”

The crackdown comes as a response to growing concerns among business owners and residents who have reported being subjected to intimidation and demands for money. These incidents have created an atmosphere of fear and uncertainty, hindering economic activity and disrupting daily life.
