Quezon City Jail Conducts Mandatory Drug Test on Personnel and Inmates

In a bid to maintain a drug-free environment, the Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory (QCJMD) has conducted a mandatory drug test on its 140 personnel and 260 persons deprived of liberty (PDLs). The move is part of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology's (BJMP) efforts to curb the spread of illegal drugs within the facility. The test aims to ensure the safety and security of both the inmates and the personnel. With the rising concern of drug abuse, the BJMP is taking proactive measures to prevent its proliferation. This initiative also promotes a healthy and secure environment within the jail, adhering to the highest standards of jail management. By conducting regular drug tests, the QCJMD can identify and address potential issues promptly.
