TikTok To Open Food Delivery Concept Around The Country

It seems like anywhere you turn, it’s impossible to hear about TikTok. Whether it’s the viral dances, challenges, and of course, the food trends. So then it makes sense that the app has made it’s most recent announcement.

TikTok Food Delivery To Open Up 1000 Locations By End Of 2022

Anyone who has spent time on TikTok (or the internet in general, really) has heard about food trends like the viral baked feta pasta and Dalgona whipped coffee. That’s why TikTok has joined forces with Virtual Dining Concepts in order to open up 300 delivery-only “ghost” kitchens across the U.S. that will serve up those exact trendy meals you see on your For You page.

This isn’t the first time Virtual Dining Concepts has teamed up with viral sensations to bring trendy foods to customers. They have worked with YouTuber MrBeast for his MrBeast Burgers and also with Mariah Carey on her Mariah’s Cookies. MrBeast was able to sell over a million burgers in just three months!

The TikTok meal delivery kitchens will use the same model and will include a revolving menu that will offer up trendy food items based on what’s popular on the app.

For example, if this service was around in the last few years, you’d be able to order things like the baked feta pasta, corn cob ribs, pasta chips, and nature’s cereal. The plan is to have 1000 locations around the U.S. by the end of 2022, so there might be one near you pretty soon.

Robert Earl, co-founder of Virtual Dining Concepts, told Bloomberg News that the delivery concept will use restaurants that he owns as well as Bertucci’s and Buca di Beppo locations. They will use GrubHub as the official delivery partner, which is what customers will have to use to enjoy their favorite TikTok food trends this way.
