Mexican Lawmakers Push for Resolution on Voting Rights for Citizens Abroad in Judicial Elections

The National Action Party (PAN) deputies are urging the federal government and the ruling Morena party to create the necessary operational, logistical, and financial conditions to allow Mexicans living abroad to vote in judicial elections. This move aims to increase voter participation and ensure that the voices of all citizens are heard. With the upcoming elections, the issue of voting rights for expatriates has become a pressing concern. The government must address the controversies surrounding this issue to guarantee a fair and democratic process. By doing so, Mexico can strengthen its democratic institutions and promote civic engagement among its citizens, both at home and abroad, through electoral reform and voter registration.
