This policy shift follows a specific report of extortion involving a parking attendant on Jalan Gajahmada, located in the Ketelan area of the Banjarsari district. The incident has prompted local authorities to tighten oversight of parking management across the city to ensure public order and safety.

Enforcement and Disciplinary Measures

Dishub officials aim to eliminate predatory practices by implementing a progressive penalty system. The enforcement strategy includes:

• Strict monitoring of parking attendants in high-traffic commercial zones.
