French Gates emphasized the importance of prioritizing women’s health, stating, “But if you neglect her health, and she can't get the information or the tools or medicines that she needs, you put her on her back foot, and she’s often leaving work, not able to care for her children in the way that she would like.” She argued that investing in women's health is essential for broader economic development and social progress, allowing women to participate more fully in the workforce and support their families.
