A UK-based mental health charity that uses gardening as a therapeutic tool has received a significant funding boost of £75,000 from the People's Postcode Lottery. This windfall will enable the charity to continue providing vital support to individuals in need. The charity's project, which focuses on mental wellbeing and gardening therapy, will benefit from this generous donation. The People's Postcode Lottery has also awarded a £1m prize to seven people in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, with each winner receiving £142,857. Additionally, local charities will receive funding awards from the Postcode Community Trust, supporting community development and mental health initiatives.
