Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – The Malaysian government has strongly condemned the United Nations Security Council's (UNSC) inability to pass a resolution demanding an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza. This follows the United States' recent veto of the resolution, sparking widespread disappointment and criticism from Putrajaya.

In a statement released today, June 5th, the Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern and frustration over the UNSC's failure to act decisively in addressing the escalating humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
