Ireland Sees Record-Breaking Tax Revenue of €108bn, Fueled by Apple's Contribution
Ireland has recorded a historic tax revenue of €108 billion, largely driven by a significant boost from Apple. The tech giant's contribution of almost €3 billion exceeded the government's initial projections made in October. Removing this one-time payment, the country's underlying corporate tax revenue still showed a notable increase of 18% to approximately €28.1 million. Although this substantial growth is unlikely to be an annual occurrence, it fell short of forecasts by about €1.4 billion.
