Running over three weeks, on August 28th and September 3rd and 10th, this exciting event promises a showcase of diverse and compelling LGBTQ+ short films.
The festival is the brainchild of bar manager Mat O'Keefe and festival director Tom Nguyen, who are brimming with enthusiasm for the upcoming screenings. "We're incredibly excited to bring this festival to Footscray and provide a platform for LGBTQ+ filmmakers and stories," says Mat. "It’s a chance to celebrate diversity, raise awareness, and create a welcoming space for our community and allies."
Tom Nguyen adds, "The response we've received from filmmakers has been phenomenal. We've curated a fantastic selection of short films covering a wide range of genres and themes – from heartwarming romances and hilarious comedies to thought-provoking dramas and powerful documentaries.
